Friends Cinema Art Series
The Friends of the Ida Rupp Public Library have sponsored a film series since 2003. The goal of the series is to bring the finest foreign films, art films, documentaries, and award- winning American films to an adult audience who might otherwise not be able to see them. The Friends of the Library purchased a state of the art theater projection system and annually renew the site license for the library.
Movies are shown in the library community rooms at 7 p.m. every Friday night from September until Thanksgiving and again during the winter from January through March. Admission is free and refreshments are served.
