AARP Tax-Aide

Taking appointments for Thursday and Friday, February 2-April 6 from 9:00am - 3:00pm

FREE tax help (federal, state, and local) for taxpayers with low and middle incomes, with special attention to those age 60 and older, will be offered again at the Ida Rupp Public Library by AARP volunteers through the AARP Foundation, in conjunction with the IRS.  Call 419-732-3212 for an appointment.  All tax returns are electronically filed.

When you come for your appointment, please bring the following documents with you:

1.  2010 Federal and State Tax return

2.  Social Security card and picture ID (Driver's license, employer ID) for you and spouse (if appropriate)

3.  Social Security cards for all dependent children and other dependents

4.  All W-2 statements for 2011

5.  1099 forms for pensions, unemployment benefits, other income, home mortgage interest paid

6.  Interest and dividends statements for 2011

7.  Broker statements showing cost basis, date purchased, amount of sale, sale date of securities or property sold in 2011

8.  Property, state, local taxes paid in 2011

9.  Medical, business expenses and charitable contributions for 2011

10.Check or checkbook for direct deposit information if choosing that option for refund
