The Affordable Care Act includes sweeping changes and a number of options in healthcare coverage. There are a wide variety of resources available online that provide information about these options, and how to choose what is best for you. The staff of the Ida Rupp Public Library can direct patrons to those resources.
The Ida Rupp Public Library staff is delighted to announce that Linda Green has agreed to come back to the Community Room in the library beginning Friday, October 11 at 8:30am to lead a one hour Yoga session free to our library patrons. She will return on Friday mornings for 4 consecutive weeks: October 11, 18, 25, and November 1. Please mark your calendars. You won't want to miss this terrific opportunity to stretch and calm and completely relax. Yoga is excellent exercise, and Linda is a great instructor. Won't you join us?
A seat on the Ida Rupp Public Library Board of Trustees is currently open. The Board, the policy-making body of the library, is composed of seven members who serve overlapping seven-year terms. Trustees represent the community at large and their varied library interests. A prerequisite for applicants is that they have an interest in public library issues and wish to become a public library advocate.
