Library Volunteers

The Ida Rupp Public Library encourages volunteerism at the library. Volunteers enable the library to enhance the level of service provided to library users.  Prospective volunteers are required to meet with the volunteer coordinator to discuss the program and the volunteer job descriptions. Volunteers are asked to commit to a regular schedule.

Volunteer positions may include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering materials to homebound borrowers

Literacy Volunteers

In addition to the opportunities available within our library, volunteers are also needed to help with literacy needs in the area. Project Read is a program for adult learners who wish to improve their reading skills. They are always looking for volunteers to assist with tutoring.  Interested parties may call 419-455-1072 or email nwohioprojectread@gmail.com.
