Introduction:

The Ida Rupp Public Library, located at 310 Madison St., Port Clinton, OH, is seeking statements of qualiﬁcations from experienced engineers/architects to provide professional services for the assessment and potential replacement of the library's rooﬁng system, windows and parking lot.

Project Description:

The project involves a thorough inspection and evaluation of the existing roof, window and parking lot followed by replacement to ensure the roof's, window’s and parking lot’s integrity, safety, and compliance with local and state building codes.

Scope of Services:

1.Design and Planning:

Develop detailed plans and speciﬁcations for roof, window and parking lot replacement.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes and standards.

2.Project Management:

Oversee the execution of the replacement work.
Ensure quality control and adherence to the project timeline.

3.Compliance and Permitting:

Ensure all work meets state and local building codes.
Obtain all necessary permits and approvals.

Submission Requirements

Interested ﬁrms must submit a Statement of Qualiﬁcations (SOQ) that includes the following information:

1.Firm Overview:

Name, address, and contact information of the ﬁrm.
Brief history of the ﬁrm, including years in business and areas of expertise.

2.Qualiﬁcations and Experience:

Summary of the ﬁrm's qualiﬁcations, including relevant experience with similar projects.
Resumes of key personnel who will be involved in the project.
Description of the ﬁrm's approach to project management and quality control.

3.Past Performance:

List of at least three similar projects completed in the past ﬁve years.
References for each project, including contact information.

4.Technical Approach:

Description of the ﬁrm's methodology for conducting inspections and evaluations.
Proposed approach to project design and management.

5.Insurance and Bonding:

Proof of professional liability insurance and bonding capacity.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on the following criteria:

Relevant experience and qualiﬁcations of the ﬁrm and key personnel.
Demonstrated ability to successfully complete similar projects.
Quality and comprehensiveness of the SOQ.
References and past performance.
Approach to project management and technical methodology.
