Staff Anniversary - October 2023

The library would be nowhere without it's staff. Throughout the year, we'd like to celebrate our amazing staff by recognizing them in their anniversary month. This month marks the anniversary of Patty, one of our newer desk clerks at Ida Rupp.

Job Title: Circulation Desk Clerk

Favorite part of job: Many things are my favorite part of the job! My most favorite is being able to help everyone in our community. I also love processing all the books and other things we offer – it still amazes me how many bags of cargo come in & go out of our library everyday. And I have to include working alongside great co-workers as a favorite part of my job!

Currently reading: I’m always reading multiple books at the same time. The two main books right now are Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr and The Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh.

Currently listening to: The Measure by Nikki Erlick.

Currently watching: I don't have the tv on a lot but do like to watch Survivor, Ted Lasso and HGTV shows.
