Meet the Staff - January 2023

Each month, we will be highlighting different members of our staff so you can get to know us. This month, we'll introduce you to Corvid from Ida Rupp. You may have seen them at our desk or leading story time in recent months.

Corvid

I've worked at the library since 2020, and started out as a clerk. Now, I'm a children's librarian! My favorite part of my job is all the patron interactions; I love talking to people and getting to know everyone. You make my job exciting!

I play ukulele, and enjoy crocheting and playing video games on my Nintendo Switch. My favorite game is Stardew Valley. Come talk to me about video games some time!!

-My favorite author is Dean Koontz. I wrote him fan mail in high school, and he sent me a box of signed books!

-My favorite food is sushi, and I love to get it from Small City Taphouse in Sandusky.

-I collect enamel pins and quirky socks!

-My first concert was when Plaid Brixx, a band out of Columbus, came to my college. it was a really small show but very enjoyable. The best concert I've been to was a Coheed & Cambria concert. It was held at the Agora theatre in Cleveland, and me and my friend had great seats. They're my favorite band, so definitely the best concert I've been to!

-If I could live in a movie, I'd want to live in the Animal Crossing movie. There is such a sweet and peaceful vibe to the village, and I'd love to be a part of a tiny community full of friendly animal pals, watering flowers and catching fish.
